When watching your sporting heroes win in the Olympics did you ever dream what it would be like to stand on the winner’s rostrum clutching your gold medal and shedding a tear when the national anthem was played? Well gold medals aren’t just for people like Seb Coe, Linford Christie, Mary Peters and the like…………………YOU COULD WIN ONE TOO!

The Wenlock Olympian Society have once again entrusted Much Wenlock Bowling Club to host the Ladies Singles, Men’s Singles and Mixed Doubles bowling competitions for 2024 and entries are invited before Wednesday 19th June.

Please see the Olympian page on the club website at www.wenlockbowls.co.uk for all the details and be sure to get your entry in as soon as you can as places will be limited. All crown green bowlers are welcome so even if you are new to bowls why not give it a go…….and get your hanky ready for the tears!!!!
