The Olympian Bowls Singles will be held on Saturday 27th June and the Doubles on Sunday 5th July.

Now that the nesting birds have fledged it was time to tackle the onerous task of cutting the large hedge surrounding our club both in readiness for the Olympian Bowls but also for the general benefit of all members who can play in such lovely surroundings.

This work was in addition to the work put in every week by the Green Team, the members of which work hard to keep the club and green in the best condition possible and deserve the thanks from all members.

More volunteers are always welcome.

Our photographs show the hedge cutting gang enjoying a well-earned cuppa after the job was finished so a big thank you to all of them.
